About Abi Moore:
Abi is an indie-folk / Americana artist from Nottingham.
She's perhaps best known for her ability to engage a live audience and for the astounding voice with which she takes powerfully insightful lyrics and delivers them with absolute conviction and honesty.
She has opened shows for 10CC, Big Country, LAU, Midge Ure, and went on tour as a backing singer with New Purple Celebration on their 2017 tour. She was Caffe Nero's Artist Of The Month and did a remarkable 80 date tour performing at Caffe Neros across the UK on the release of her second album. Her music is still played nationwide in Caffe Nero, Carluccios and many other cafes in the UK. She has played at festivals around the UK including BBC 6 Music Summer Sundae, YNot and Latitude festivals. This summer she'll be supporting the Longest Johns, whose hit Wellerman went viral in 2021.

Here at the Star Inn, we offer a warm welcome in our newly refurbished real ale pub. With 10 hand pulls, the real ale drinkers out there are spoiled for choice. We also offer an extensive wine and whisky menu along with traditional pub snacks and a large homemade stonebaked pizza menu. Being a dog and children friendly the whole family is welcome.
Quiet background music is the norm here, with our snug or our whisky room as an ideal place to sit in peace. On our warmer days, we have a huge marquee to sit in the shade or the biggest garden in Beeston with a sun terrace that’s perfect to enjoy the summer sun in.
On the colder days, stay inside in front of our log burners and enjoy a warming stout. With a separate room off the marquee with a pool table and 2 large TV’s showing sport from Rugby to Cricket to Cycling.

We have a great set of deals and offers every week including free pool on Monday, Quiz night on Tuesday, 2 for 1 pizza on Wednesday and a chance to win free beer at 6pm on Thursday!
We are wheelchair friendly from the ramp up to the front door, through to the whisky room and the marquee and out on to the patio and down to the garden. There is also a disabled toilet and a baby change area as well.
Under 18s are welcome as long as accompanied by an adult.
